Job Title: Director of Health Information Technology
Location: Stockton, CA
FLSA Status: Exempt

The primary responsibility of the Director of Health Information Technology is to supervise a staff comprised of trained and certificated specialists who maintain CMC’s designated Enterprise Practice Management Systems (EPM) and Electronic Health Records systems (EHR) in such a manner as to meet the organizational objectives as set forth by the board of directors and senior management. Minimum requirements: Minimum eight years of work experience in a health care-related field working in a technical software support capacity. At least three years as a department supervisor of more than two other people, must be able to  assume the primary responsibility for EPM, EHR application performance, and for completing various assigned projects and tasks, Must be able to build and manage a closely knit team of tech support specialists, if not already certified, candidates must obtain EHR trainer-level knowledge and have passed exams within 90 days from date of hire. Must also complete certifications for EPM for the most recently installed version, proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word; proficiency with PowerPoint, Access, and Project. Job Title: Data Analyst II

The Data Analyst II uses their technical skills and training to extract data from core application libraries for the purposes of creating and manipulating complex spreadsheets and formulas, discovery of patterns and relationships, creation of summarized reports for senior management. These reports are used to assess business events and trends, as interpreted from health care clinical data and corporate financial data. Candidates must have a strong mathematical ability and a passion for analytical work.  Under the direction of the Director of Health Information Technology, the Data Analyst II serves as a decision support specialist for projects relating to practice workflow improvement, enhancements to quality outcomes for patient services, and the proper use of professional resources to meet the organizational objectives.
